Unique and Efficient Features
The Smart Grind System (SGS) is a portable CNC machine with two linear axes and the option of a third circular or rotary axis. It is designed to automate grinding and sharpening operations with the same ease and setups as a manual machine, but with the advantages of CNC precision and process control.
Its compact design provides stability that improves cutting quality and finishes. Depending on the model, with ISO system programming (G codes), various operations can be performed with simultaneous movements on 1, 2, and 3 axes.

Highest Quality Work
Hard Cut
Carbide bar cutting operation, using a program to control variable cutting feed according to bar diameter.
Wheel Dressing
Face, angle, and diameter dressing for diamond and CBN grinding wheels with motorized spindle system.
Radio Affiliate
Primary and secondary radial sharpening of circular cutter; with rotating shaft.
Helical Grooved
Process of generating helical channels in rotary tools such as drill bits, end mills, grooves, etc.
Weldom type grooving/dragging tool
Point grinding
Roughing and finishing of centers (points) on carbide bars with motorized head equipment.
Sharp Cutting Edge
